The local mineral waters, picturesque landscapes, and mountain climate make Piwniczna a very attractive health resort.

That is why it was in the Beskid Mountains where the first tourist trail was set in 1906. It led from Piwniczna through Eliaszówka to Jaworek and Szlachtowa. Today, we can hike this trail together with 282 km of tourist trails of varying difficulty in the Beskidy and Pieniny Mountains. From here you can go to, among others, Eliaszówka (1023 m), Rytro through Niemcowa (1026 m), to Hala Pisana (1078 m), Radziejowa (1263 m), Obidza and Wielki Rogacz (1182 m).
